All summer transcripts are recorded with letter grades. The Yonsei Internship is an exception and is evaluated as pass/non-pass.

Yes. If you are at least in your second semester of college/university, please submit an OFFICIAL (stamped, signed) transcript issued within 3 months of your application. We do not accept website screenshots, student copies, expired transcripts, or transcripts in other languages besides English.

I submitted and meet the requirements for admission, but I have not received any acceptance notices.
If you have submitted your application and have not heard back from us within 2-3 weeks, then A) your application documents do not meet the application guidelines or B) you have not yet paid the application fee.
Students must submit the correct application documents AND pay the application fee within the given deadline. Please notify the YISS team of any application updates by email.

K-ETA is a Korean Electronic Travel Authorization effective from September 1st, 2021 (KST)
Visa-free foreign visitors need K-ETA approval in order to obtain the boarding pass and to enter the Republic of Korea.
K-ETA is valid for multiple trips over a period of 2 years.

Unfortunately, no. Only currently enrolled students can apply for YISS .

For 6 weeks courses, classes meet two class hour (100 minutes) each day (three class hours for Korean Language courses), 4 days a week (Mon ~ Thu).
For 4 weeks courses, classes meet there class hours (150 minutes) each day, 4 days a week (Mon ~ Thu).

You make take up to 3 classes (one class minimum).
In case of participating in the Internship program. Minimum course load is 6 credits.

Yes. students are allowed to take only one class.

Yes, you can take only online classes offered in the 4 week program.
However, please not that if you take only online classes you won't be able to get the VISA documents and apply for the on-campus housing.
Even if you received the documents, if you change to only online courses, please not that the issued VISA documents will be cancelled and you will lose the VISA effectiveness.
